In winter I try to do all kinds of drinks to keep us away from colds. Most often I mix herbal tea with honey and lemon. But this year I changed the recipe and started to do some kind of syrup from honey, lemon and ginger. Every morning each of us drink a glass of warm water mixed with a spoonful of this syrup. My son loves this drink. He always tells me to give him “juice” with honey, lemon and ginger:)
Besides this drink is full of vitamins also it’s a boost of energy. So it’s good to be consumed in the morning, never in the evening.
In the recipe below I put 100g of ginger. If you like the intense taste of ginger, you can add more.
I washed lemons and I cut it into small pieces. I peeled ginger and I cut it into small pieces. I put ginger and lemon in a glass jar.
I added honey and mixed all the ingredients until I have obtained a syrup.
The jar must be keep in the fridge for 10 days. Have a beautiful winter without colds!!!
